| Alpha is a very successful Christian
Basics course which is ideal for anyone who wishes to explore
the Christian faith for the first time or to understand the
foundation of their belief in Jesus Christ. For more information on this course we recommend looking at the official Alpha Web Site The Next Alpha Supper is on Wednesday 5th October at 7.30 pm We have an incredible church. It’s not perfect. It’s not as good as it could be. It is not yet at its best. But it is a church worth joining. It is a church worth inviting friends to. We now have a great opportunity this autumn to invite our friends to the Alpha Supper. This is a great meal with a brief introduction to the course, but there is no obligation for people to join the course if they don’t want to. Of course, we hope they do, and last year about 80% of the Alpha Supper attendees joined the course. Looking at the bigger picture, it is a wonderful tool for presenting the gospel to unchurched people, which usually leads to them coming to faith in Jesus Christ.
