Men's Breakfast (and other activities)

The men of the church have been having breakfast together for very many years. Now we use the Church Centre with great facilities to cook outstanding breakfasts.

We have a breakfast on the second Saturday of every month except August starting promptly at 8 o'clock to finish and let people disperse at 9.30am. The men do the cooking, serving and clearing up and aim to make the women jealous. The doing is the fun of it. We aim to alternate a full English fry-up with a Coffee and Croissant Breakfast. Likewise we vary special speakers with study and discussion sessions.

We are also members of Christian Vision for Men (CVM) which is a national organisation that aims to evangelise men using a long-term programme of events of all sorts. For events in this area we are partners with neighbouring churches in Gloucester CVM and sometimes have social evenings out.

This year, 40 of us have been to Gloucester City Rugby ground to see them convincingly beat London Irish. And on Thursday April 24th 7.30pm we supported the ladies in hosting Harry Benson talking about Practical Ways of Strengthening Families.

These are wonderful opportunities for men to meet together in a way that gives them freedom to share fellowship and get to know one another. Do join us.
