ST ANDREW'S MOTHERS' UNION

Here at St. Andrew’s our Mothers’ Union membership continues to grow.

We meet in prayer and fellowship:

Evening Group - 7.45pm: 3rd Tuesday of each month
Afternoon Group - 2.30pm: 4th Thursday of each month
Corporate Communion - 10.00am: 1st Thursday of each month
Prayer Group - 7.00pm: Before the evening meeting

Our meetings are very lively with visiting or ‘home grown’ speakers, activities and outings on the agenda.

We are actively involved at St. Andrew’s in:

Parish Worship:
Leading prayers
Reading the lesson
Baptism preparation

Outreach:
Parenting Courses

Practical Assistance:
Church crèche
Welcomers
Serving coffee etc.

We support local diocese initiatives (e.g. Money Advice Service), national (e.g. Prison Play Area Scheme) and Worldwide initiatives (e.g. spectacles sent to Literacy Programme in Rwanda) and are especially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life.
